Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is a American R&B and soul musician and singer. She has been awarded various accolades like the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Andra Days is a strong artist who also writes beautifully. Not only is she a specialist in the throwback genre of R&B Her musical sources are gospel jazz and blues. The debut album of Andra Day, Cheers to Fall (2015) was a top hit on the R&B/hiphop charts, and her contributions towards Marshall (2017) have earned the singer a Grammy Award and Academy Award. Amen and the singles Make Your Troubles Away and The United States Versus Billie Holiday each have singles making fans wait for the arrival of her new album. Andra Day was born Cassandra Monique Batie and grew in Edmonds Washington. While in San Diego, she attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts as well as performed in churches. After leaving the School of Creative and Performing Arts, andra Day began to focus on contemporary R&B and Pop, however she quickly realized that her soulful jazz influences were what she was drawn to. Kai Millard Morris recorded a concert of Day in the following year, then later gifted her husband Stevie Wonder some of Day's music. Motown legend Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the veteran businessman in music. In partnership together with Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day built up a popularity on YouTube and later signed with major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day released her debut single Forever Mine on YouTube. The track was soon received by DJs and they began airing the track on radio. Following her the signing of Warner Bros. Records, she started working with producer Adrian Gurvitz on their debut record "Cheers to fall" (2015). The album included the track"Rise Up," which was an appeal to groups for justice across the world. Day was nominated for two Grammy Awards with the latter being Best R&B Album. Day released The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, A concept album about the life and career of jazz legend Billie Holiday. The United States against Billie Holiday was released in 2021. This was the year in which she was also featured in the film Holiday. Andi Mattichak was an American actor. She first appeared on television shows like Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods and then made her debut in horror films Halloween in addition to sequels. Andi Mattichak was born May 3, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
